AI that asks before it writes
Describe the job in plain language. Waco3's AI asks 2 to 4 clarifying questions about deliverables, budget shape, and timeline, then drafts a proposal that sounds like you wrote it on your best day. You review everything. It proposes, never sends.
AI included in every plan: Free, Pro, and Studio.
You've tried pasting a brief into a chatbot. What came back was grammatically perfect and completely generic: a proposal that could have been written for any freelancer, for any client, in any industry. So you spent an hour rewriting it, which is exactly the hour the AI was supposed to save.
The problem isn't that AI can't write. It's that most AI writes before it understands. It fills the gaps in your brief with plausible filler instead of asking what you actually meant. Waco3 is built around the opposite instinct.
Three rules our AI never breaks
- It asks before it writes. Smart Intake mirrors your brief back and asks 2 to 4 clarifying questions about deliverables, budget shape, and timeline before generating a word. Drafts come out specific, not generic. (You can toggle this off when speed matters more.)
- It proposes, never sends. Every AI output, including a rewritten section, a survey edit plan, or a follow-up email, arrives as a reviewable proposal you approve or reject. Nothing is ever sent to a client by AI. Ever.
- It's included in every plan. AI credits come with Free, Pro, and Studio, with no per-seat AI metering and no separate AI subscription.
The AI does the heavy lifting. You keep the judgment, the voice, and the send button.
AI in every feature, not an AI feature
Waco3 doesn't have an AI tab you visit. AI shows up wherever the work happens:
- Starting a document: a full proposal, quote, invoice, or agreement drafted from a plain-language brief, in English or Spanish, after the clarifying questions.
- Editing a section: rewrite with 3 variations, or make it more professional, shorter, friendlier, or more detailed. Select any text and improve, rephrase, expand, or formalize it, always with approve/reject.
- Whole-document changes: "Ask AI" returns a reviewable change plan: add, update, move, or delete, each step with a rationale.
- Building a survey: AI drafts the question set from your goal and warns you when a survey is long enough to hurt completion.
- Planning delivery: "Plan with AI" builds a tracker's milestones and to-dos from a short brief.
- Following up: AI drafts follow-up emails, call talking points, and meeting plans grounded in what your client actually read, including which sections they lingered on and which they skipped. Not a generic template.
That last one is the quiet superpower. Because engagement tracking lives in the same workspace, your follow-ups are written from real reading behavior, like "they read the pricing section twice", instead of guesswork.
AI credits, in plain language
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits, and every AI action shows its cost transparently before you run it. A typical AI-drafted proposal costs a few thousand credits.
- Free: 3,000 credits/month, which is enough to taste real AI drafting on a real document.
- Pro ($30/mo): 200,000 credits/month, roughly dozens of AI-assisted documents every month.
- Studio ($60/mo): 450,000 credits/month, shared across your team's single credit wallet.
Heavy month? Boost packs on Pro and Studio add one-time credits that stay valid for a year from the day you buy them. Subscribing is always cheaper per credit, so Boosts are for spikes, not a substitute for the right plan, and unused monthly credits don't roll over. Pricing has the pack sizes and the per-credit math.
Fast drafts, your voice, your call
The point of AI in Waco3 isn't to remove you from the work, but to remove the blank page, the third rewrite, and the "how do I phrase this follow-up" paralysis. You go from brief to reviewable draft in minutes, spend your time on judgment instead of typing, and every word that reaches a client passed through your hands first.
And because the AI lives inside the same workspace as your e-signatures, surveys, and client tracker, its drafts inherit your brand, your templates, and your client context automatically. No copy-pasting between a chatbot and your real tools.
